Harpist Cécile Bonhomme began her studies at the National Conservatory of
Nice region. In 1996, she won the First Harp Prize unanimously , the Chamber Music and Musical Training Prizes , as well as his literary baccalaureate with honors.
While studying law and musicology at the faculty, she continued to improve her skills with Elisabeth Fontan-Binoche and is laureate of the International Harp and
Music by Bedroom from Arles.
His participation is appreciated in many festivals, in France (tours with the
General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes) and abroad (Switzerland, Spain, Italy,
England, Norway, Ireland, Namibia for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), alongside great soloists such as Philippe Bernold, Pierre-Henri Xuereb, Elisabeth Vidal or even Laurent Korcia.
She is also invited to perform for prestigious events such as the induction
then the marriage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco , the marriage of David Hallyday then the baptism of his son Cameron.
She participates in many recordings including albums " O time suspend your flight ", in duet with cellist Manfred Stilz," Classical lullabies on the harp "...
She was also asked for
accompany singer Lara Fabian in the album “Les enfants du top 50”.
Holder of the State Diploma of Harp Teacher, she transmits her passion to
Music Conservatory of Cagnes-sur-Mer, as well as at the Villeneuve Music School
Loubet where she is Educational Director.
Having experienced the mediating and beneficent role of music for people in
suffering, she underwent training to be empowered to teach children
autistic and created in 2010 the Harpe Diem Association (Association law 1901, recognized
general) which aims to defend the fundamental right of access to culture and the arts for each of us, valid or disabled.
